Introduction#

Front Matter#
Like with all Markdown pages, front matter is used to specify metadata, but is optional. Hyde will parse metadata directly from your Markdown files. However, to front matter in documentation pages bring one powerful feature, sidebar grouping, which makes your documentation pages even easier to navigate.
Built-in Search#
HydePHP also comes with a static client-side search engine. It works by creating a JSON search index when compiling your documentation site. This is then loaded using AJAX for a silky smooth search experience without any additional services or dependencies. Best of all? It's fast. Very fast.
